ROCHESTER, MN  – JULY 24, 2007 – Darin Ruf (Creighton) earned Northwood's League Player of the Night after scoring the winning run in last nights 3-2 victory over the Duluth Huskies. Ruf finished the night 1-for-2 with a solo home run, his seventh, three base-on-balls and two runs scored.

Its the fifth time a Woodchuck has earned NWL Player of the Night. Jeremy Barnes (Notre Dame), Vicente Cafaro (Iowa Western C.C.), Justin Fitzgerald (UC-Davis) and Matt Trausch (Oakland) were the first four to receive the honor.
