WATERLOO, IOWA – JULY 21, 2007 – (stats) The Woodchucks sent 11 players to the plate and Steve Winkelmann (Creighton) smacked two hits in a six run fourth inning as the Chucks took down the Waterloo Bucks 7-3. Ten straight batters reached base safely as a couple runners were cut down on the bases.

Willy Kesler (Lamar C.C.) struck out seven Bucks on his way to his third victory. Kesler gave up just one run on a solo bomb in the first and retired 12 straight in the middle of the ballgame.

Vicente Cafaro (Iowa Western C.C.) led all hitters with a 3-for-4 night, scoring a couple runs. Darin Ruf (Creighton) and Winkelmann each finished with a pair of hits as Ruf also drove in a pair.

The Chucks will finish its weekend series with the Buck Sunday, July 22 at 3:05 p.m.
