ROCHESTER, MN - JULY 15, 2007 - Vicente Cafaro (Iowa Western C.C.) was awarded Northwood's League Player of the Night for his best offensive game of the season. Cafaro drove in four runs, on a 4-for-5 performance, and scored two runs in a 8-7 win over the Madison Mallards.

At shortstop, "Vinny" helped turn one double play and had five assists. In the past eight games, Cafaro has made just one error in the 49 chances and been involved in seven double plays.

Vinny is the third 'Chuck picked as NWL Player of the Night, but the first position player. Justin Fitzgerald (UC-Davis) and Matt Trausch (Oakland) were each given the honor on July 9 and July 4, respectively.
