WAUSAU, WI – February 5, 2008 – With the 2008 Woodchucks’ home
opener less than four months away, group picnic outings are
starting to fill up fast. Please call the Woodchucks office
today at 715-845-5055 to inquire about reserving a date for your
group outing this summer.
The
Woodchucks offer the following two reserved picnic areas: the
WAOW TV-9 Third Base SportsDeck and the
Ministry Health Care Gantner Garden on the first base
side. The two food and drink packages offered are the
Standard Package and the All-You-Care-to-Eat-and-Drink
Package. The Standard Package consists of two
drinks, two sandwich items, baked beans, chips, and the game
ticket. The food menu consists of hot dogs, brats, hamburgers,

The Wisconsin Woodchucks are a member of the Northwoods League,
a college wood bat summer league featuring players from across
the country. Baseball America named the Northwoods League as
one of the premier summer collegiate baseball leagues in the
country. The Woodchucks 2008 home opener is set for Friday, May
30th.
